1. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Forestry (Exemptions) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021 from— Màiri McAllan, Tim Gordon-Roberts, and Amy Hogarth, Scottish Government. 2. Subordinate legislation: Màiri McAllan, Minister for Environment and Land Reform to move—S6M-01170—That the Rural Affairs, Islands and Natural Environment recommends that the Forestry (Exemptions) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021 be approved. 3. Animal health and welfare: The Committee will take evidence from— Kirsty Jenkins, OneKind; Romain Pizzi, Dr, Scottish branch of the British Veterinary Association; Mike Flynn, Chief Superintendent, Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; Simon Turner, Dr, Scotland’s Rural College; and then from— Cathy Dwyer, Professor, Andrew Kitchener, Dr, Peter Goddard, Dr, Simon Girling, Professor, and Libby Anderson, Scottish Animal Welfare Commission. 4. Evidence Session The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier in the meeting.
