Summit to Mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities (Accessible)

Programme for the day 2pm The session starts in the Debating Chamber. Welcome by the Deputy Presiding Officer Annabelle Ewing MSP. Welcome from the Presiding Officer Alison Johnstone MSP. This will be a short video. 2.05pm Welcome from Jeremy Balfour MSP, Convener of the Cross-Party Group on Disability. This will be a short video. Dr Jim Elder Woodward OBE, Convener of Inclusion Scotland. 2.25pm Baroness Grey-Thompson DBE. This will be a live video link. 2.45pm We will show videos about the Scottish Parliament building with British Sign Language interpreting. We will also remind you about the post-Summit discussion that is happening at 4.15pm after the Chamber event. 3pm A cross-party panel discussion and question and answer session with the members of the panel. This will be chaired by Annabelle Ewing MSP, Deputy Presiding Officer.
