Details

1. Declarations of interests: Beatrice Wishart and Daniel Johnson will be invited to declare any relevant interests.

2. Choice of Deputy Convener: The Committee will choose a Deputy Convener.

3. Decisions on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 4 and 5 in private.

4. Scottish Qualifications Authority - performance and role: The Committee will take evidence from-
Fiona Robertson, Chief Executive, John McMorris, Director of Business Development, and Robert Quinn, Head of English, Languages and Business, Scottish Qualifications Authority.

5. Review of evidence: The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier.

6. Work programme: The Committee will consider its work programme.

Proposed future business

At its next meeting, on 18 September, the Committee expects to hear evidence from the Minister for Children and Young people on funded childcare subordinate legislation. The Committee also expects to hear evidence from a panel of witnesses on Brexit and its effect on Higher Education.
