During dissolution, there are no MSPs and no parliamentary business can take place.

1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take item 6 in private. 2. Payments to returning officers in Scotland: The Committee will take evidence from— Jonathon Shafi, Campaigns Organiser, Electoral Reform Society Scotland; Navraj Singh Ghaleigh, Senior Lecturer in Climate Law, University of Edinburgh; Dr Toby James, Senior Lecturer in British and Comparative Politics, University of East Anglia. 3. Subordinate legislation: Parts 2, 3 and 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015: The Committee will take evidence from— Assistant Chief Constable Andy Cowie, Local Policing North, Police Scotland; Sandra Holmes, Community Assets Sector Lead, Highlands and Islands Enterprise; Iona Colvin, Director of Health and Social Care North Ayrshire, NHS Ayrshire and Arran; Bruce Kiloh, Head of Policy and Planning, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport; Richard Davison, Strategic Manager, Scottish Natural Heritage. 4.
