Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take items 4 and 5 in private. 3. Committee effectiveness: The Committee will take evidence, in a roundtable format, from— Professor Philip Lord Norton of Louth, Professor of Government and Director of the Centre for Legislative Studies, University of Hull; Professor Diana Stirbu, Co-Director of the Centre for Applied Research in Empowering Society (CARES), London Metropolitan University; Dr Stephen Holden Bates, Senior Lecturer in Political Science, University of Birmingham; Dr Ruth Fox, Director and Head of Research, Hansard Society. 4. Evidence Session: Committee effectiveness The Committee will consider the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 3. 5. Guidance on Chamber business: The Committee will consider revised guidance on Chamber business.
