1. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee will decide whether to take item 8 in private.

2. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016 (Register of Persons Holding a Controlled Interest in Land) Regulations 2020 [draft] from—
Ben Macpherson, Minister for Rural Affairs and the Natural Environment;
Fiona Taylor, Head of Land Use and Land Reform, Robin Cornwall, Senior Policy Officer, and Kirsty Slee, Lawyer, Scottish Government.

3. Subordinate legislation: Ben Macpherson, Minister for Rural Affairs and the Natural Environment to move—S5M-23896—That the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee recommends that the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016 (Register of Persons Holding a Controlled Interest in Land) Regulations 2020 [draft] be approved.

4. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will take evidence on the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 [draft] from—
Ben Macpherson, Minister for Rural Affairs and the Natural Environment;
Andrew Voas, Veterinary Head of Animal Welfare, John Nicolson, Senior Policy Manager, Animal Welfare Team, and Grant McLarty, Lawyer, Scottish Government.

Subordinate legislation: Ben Macpherson, Minister for Rural Affairs and the Natural Environment to move—S5M-23808—That the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee recommends that the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 [draft] be approved.

The Crofting Community Right to Buy (Procedure, Ballots and Forms) (Scotland) Regulations 2020.

7. Subordinate legislation: The Committee will consider a negative statutory instrument under the Climate Change Act 2008 on the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme—
The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme (Amendment) Order 2020.

8. Common frameworks: The Committee will consider its draft response to the House of Lords Common Frameworks Committee’s inquiry into post-Brexit common frameworks.
